The IQ is the total score produced by a test designed to measure a portion of a person's intelligence. The term IQ is a transformation from the German Intellectualz-uotient, which was proposed by German psychiatrist William Stern in 1912 by scoring cognitive tests in children (such as those developed by Alfred Vine, Theodore Simon in the early 20th century). Today, scoring methods are being used with statistically generalized intelligence tests, such as the Wexler Adult Intelligence Test.

Questions about the intelligence of a particular country or population can be controversial. In fact, intelligence appears to be influenced by national, political, and geographical factors.
Flynn effect
New Zealand psychologist James Flynn says the IQ is influenced by a variety of acquired influences in addition to heredity. According to a study from 1930 data, regardless of race, it increased by an average of 3 points every 10 years. Experiments have also confirmed that the intelligence index increases through environmental factors or learning.
